Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.

Meg is a performer, writer, theatre maker and facilitator whose biggest delights are learning, play, language, and the natural world. Creative spaces that celebrate a young person’s unique presence teach Meg about the power of attention, and the transformative power of intergenerational moments.

Meg has loved working with Polyglot on Paper Planet and When the World Turns, in which they recently performed at the Lincoln Center. Meg is also inspired by working in special development schools, where education is the ultimate creative act.

When she’s not performing with Polyglot, Meg is the co-Artistic Director of Three Bags Fool with whom she has made Yellow Red Fruit (2024). The collective also write for stage and screen, including plays: The Magpie and The Night Rabbits.

Being a Polyglot artist is a highlight of Meg’s creative life. Every day is sustained by immersive play, fun and magic through a community that embodies those values entirely.
