Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.

Maisy Butchart

After graduating from Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Production, Maisy has worked with Polyglot as a Stage and Production Manager since early 2024. She has been privileged to support the delivery of various touring repertoire works, as well as the development and premiere of new shows.

There is so much joy to be found in working with young people. Maisy is particularly enraptured by the times that allow her to step back and witness children find their groove, show their colours, take up space, and drive creativity.
