Ally’s career began in technical theatre, touring internationally with The Royal Shakespeare Company and Sir Peter Hall, before progressing into major cultural events, including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the XVII Commonwealth Games and the inaugural New Year’s Eve celebrations on the London Eye. These formative experiences cemented her belief in the impact of collaborative creative practice and the importance of accessible, community-centred work.
Joining Polyglot reflects Ally’s long-standing commitment to work that places imagination, agency and inclusion at its centre. She is deeply motivated by the transformative potential of children’s theatre—particularly its capacity to empower young people, invite diverse ways of seeing the world, and foster lifelong engagement with creativity. She brings to Polyglot a dedication to ambitious new work, ethical and sustainable practice, and a belief in the vital role of play and curiosity in cultural life.
