Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. Shannon Joseph

Shannon is a senior finance professional with experience across high-growth startups and global technology companies in the United States and Australia. She is currently Head of Finance at Tixel, a Melbourne-based global ticket marketplace for live events.

Over the past decade, Shannon has worked across the technology, fintech, and e-commerce sectors, supporting organisations through complex financial and operational challenges. Her experience spans financial planning and analysis, governance, risk management, and partnering with executive teams on international expansion, capital allocation, and strategic transactions, including venture investments, acquisitions and exits. She brings a strong commercial mindset and a practical approach to financial oversight, and is passionate about supporting purpose-driven organisations and creative communities.

Shannon is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
