Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.

Giving Tuesday

Give the gift of PLAY

In 2023, more than 25,000 children and families have been able to participate in Polyglot’s work for free; 83% of our annual audience so far. We are driven by the right of all children to experience growth and resilience through creative play and to be captivated by the arts.

Play and participation in the arts strengthens childrens’ capacity, from their mental health to school engagement, creative thinking, their social connection and sense of belonging, confidence and literacy.

  • “Experiences that provoke play and curiosity and the exploration of possibilities are good for us all. The confidence and joy that creativity draws on needs to be nurtured for it thrive. Helps us and especially children to keep their minds open to new ideas, joys and experiences.”
