Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.

Tangle in Singapore

In 2014 Polyglot took Tangle to Singapore.

The show was set up inside the slightly outrageous ‘Marina Bay Sands’ shopping mall, on an ice rink. Unfortunately the ice had been covered over, so we weren’t able to make Polyglot’s first ice show, but it was still an amazing venue because of the height of the space. We took elastic to balconies and balustrades 4 stories up. It’s always great when you can really take over and transform a normal space into a play space, and blur the edges of where the play stops.
