Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.

Keep it rolling' is written at the bottom in small brown letters.

A cross-cultural collaboration between artists in Australia (Polyglot Theatre) and Singapore (The Artground), presented by Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay

Pass It On celebrates intergenerational play across cultures. Artists from The Artground (Singapore) and Polyglot Theatre (Australia) have engaged with families, grandparents and grandchildren, residents at aged care facilities, intergenerational playgroups and children at early learning centres in both countries. Together, they have been exploring the different ways that stories, memories and games are passed on.

This installation is part of an ongoing creative process. It is a special opportunity to experience the discoveries so far and contribute your own.

Take your time. Skip to a beat. Make your mark. Pass It On keeps it rolling.

On Sunday 15 March, drop in and experience the installation with artists from The Artground (Singapore). Across 18-22 March, drop in and experience the installation at your own pace.
