Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.

  • The Wild Things plays at Chookas Festival at Arts Centre Melbourne – designer/maker Katrina Gaskell.
  • Polyglot tours to Singapore for the Festival Opening of Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay with We Built This City, Fin and Muckheap, roving performances, and workshops
  • Rising Higher by Sue Giles takes place at the North Melbourne Town Hall.
  • The Mighty How by Jessica Wilson tours to metropolitan and regional schools in Victoria in collaboration with Tasmania’s Terrapin Theatre.
  • Polyglot delivers a two-week workshop tour in regional schools in New South Wales, in collaboration with Outback Theatre.
  • The Noise Factory by Sarah Kriegler and the Mallacoota kids is developed.
