This online workshop demonstrates the endless possibilities for creativity and play with simple materials. Polyglot artists take children through a range of fun techniques for bringing paper and tape creations to life. Participants will also explore making environments, costumes and headwear.

Paper and Tape Escape can be presented in a pre-recorded/on-demand, live, or semi-live format. Online workshops work best when participants are in separate locations (such as remote learning from home). If you are interested in an activity for students who are together in a classroom, we recommend our in-person offerings, which are delivered in line with Polyglot’s COVID-safe policy.

  • Any kind of paper – a combination of scrap, newspaper, tissue and cardboard is always good

Acknowledgment of country

Polyglot acknowledges that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and create, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. For more than 65,000 years, children and families have created and played here, and we are grateful to make our art on this country too.
